Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be transferred to Arusha Mountain Village. Spent the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast at your hotel, depart southwards to Lake Manyara. Enjoy a game drive en-route to your lodge perched on the edge of the Rift Valley with stunning views over the distant Lake Manyara. Proceed for lunch followed by an afternoon of game viewing drive. Later on as the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast you depart for Ngorongoro viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains as you go. You stop at Olduvai Gorge en route. The Gorge acquired its name from the Sansevieria bush that grows profusely in the area, named Oltupai by the Maasai. The Gorge is about 50 km long and in some places around 90m deep and is found between the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. After a picnic lunch you continue to your lodge, set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4

Descend to the floor of the crater and have an experience of a lifetime, as you watch literary thousands of game that Africa has to offer. The unique eco-system supports the delicate balance of predator and prey in the endless quest for survival. Picnic lunch boxes will be served by the hippo pool. As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim ascend and return to the Lodge.

Day 5

After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon games drive until sunset. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 6

Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. All meals are served at the lodge, however; at the driver/guides’ discretion, a picnic lunch may be taken.

Day 7

Breakfast at your lodge, then drive from to the Tarangire National Park, named after the TarangireRiver which rises in Tanzania’s central highland. The river lures thousands of plains game to its banks. Picnic lunch en route. Afternoon game drive arriving at the lodge as the sun sets for dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Proceed for an early morning game viewing drive in the park. Return for breakfast and later on drive back to Kilimanjaro airport for your onward flight.
